My name is Ken Sands. I have been a professional illusionist for the last 22 years and a Christian for the last 20 years.
Prior to that I was an atheist holding to the view of philosophical naturalism. In simple terms the idea that the supernatural does not exist and is not inherently different from natural phenomena. I was a strong atheist believing that matter, energy, physics and their properties over billions of years is how humans and all that we observe arrived here.
All that changed in 1987 when I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I have dedicated my life to using the art of illusion in presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ.
My purpose is twofold. Sharing the gospel and providing powerful arguments for God’s existence to help equip Christians and to engage non believers.
Many of these profound arguments have been developed by the great Christian thinkers through the ages, they are discussed and worked through at a Christian Think group in Orange Ca, called “Reason Together”. Prior to that I studied under Bob Passintino, and his Christian philosophy group, “Mars Hill”.
My ultimate desire is to show that belief in God is not only rational but necessary, and the very nature of rationality itself reflects the image of God.
